I offer a range of bike sizing and fitting services, detailed below, but here is the executive summary...

How much does a bike fit cost?
It's going to depend on the service selected, AND your particular issues, needs, and budgets.
There is a base price for each service, and that might cover what is needed. This is listed with each service.
In addition, you might need and accept the recommendation for some different parts, eg a stem or saddle, or new cleats. That's additional cost for equipment purchases.
Also, you might have a long list of things to address which cannot all be satisfactorily addressed in the typical time allocation. Or we check off 4 out 5 things on your aches and pains list - and there is one to go. These will require (optionally) one or more additional sessions on an hourly basis.
Think of it like a trip to your doctor for a tummy pain. You pay for the visit for the diagnosis and recommendations. You probably expect a prescription cost as well. But maybe you need labwork (more $$), and then it turns out you have appendicitis and need surgery (more $$$). You thought it was a simple issue, but it was more complicated and expensive to resolve. Same with people and their bikes. Not everyone has the same needs, and some people need a lot more intervention and work than others. Additional work after the initial service is on a time/cost basis.
What about complimentary followup visits? Other fitters offer them.
It has been common practice amongst bike fitters to offer a complimentary followup as a form of service guarantee. I used to, but no longer do. Instead of putting my prices up to cover a visit that may not be needed, I've kept the base price in check. That way, someone who needs more work done pays for it, and not those who don't.
What if I'm not happy with the bike fit?
Talk to me about it. I stand behind my work. If you have a genuine dissatisfaction with the service or results, let's discuss it and work out a fair resolution. Maybe I see you for a followup at reduced cost, or offer a refund. You do need to have held up you end of the deal by having implemented or followed any recommendations I have made.
- Additional brand/model evaluation is available on a time cost basis using the Bike buying Buddy service.

For you and a bike that you have ridden enough to know that something isn't quite right, or could be better. A complete bike fit may be focused on addressing a specific issue like comfort or performance. This is an all inclusive fit from toes to fingers, meaning everything is up for assessment including shoes, cleats, saddle, handlebars, positioning, biomechancis, posture and riding technique. However we will focus on the higher priorities. That means not everything that could be worked on can be accomplished in one session, and you may leave with recommendations for other things to consider.
Not all clients present with the same issues, and not all issues can be resolved in one fit session. If you recognize the need to do more, or wish to implement recommendations that may be presented, you can book in for a followup session. A follow up session can be tailored to refinements, equipment upgrades, additional problem resolution, saddle testing, shoe / cleat set up, aero optimization, or whatever you like that is bike fit related.

This is for duplicating a fit you are happy with from one bike to another bike, or fitting a second bike for the same cyclist. Note that this does not guarantee the same feeling and riding experience, since differences in geometry and components between bikes will influence the feel and quality of ride.
Cost varies depending on if the fit is being transferred to the same style of bike, or if this is a fit for a different type of bike. Lower cost for the same type of bike, higher cost for a different style of bike as the riding position will be different.

Most cyclists report great improvement and satisfaction after a single fitting session, but some cyclists take longer to get dialed in, and progressive refinements to the bike set-up are needed over a period of time.
For further evaluation and refinements you can book a Fit Follow-up as needed and pay on a cost/time basis. $90/hr
Followups may be for implementing recommendations made during the main fit session, or specific issues like saddle comfort or new shoe/ cleat set up.
Additional charges may apply for significant mechanical work like bar swaps and re-cabling, as well as parts.
