Numb Feet? – try this quick and easy fix.

Foot discomfort is commonly due to either nerve compression, resulting in searing pain known as “hot foot”, or reduced circulation which can cause numbness. There are many variables that can contribute including shoe shape and width, footbed support, and cleat positioning. Another variable is how tightly you strap your cycle shoes closed. If you experience numb feet, try riding with your shoe straps ridiculously loose – so loose that you feel like you might come out of them when walking. You wont when riding, and when your feet and veins start swelling from the exertion of riding, there is enough space to expand into – reducing circulation and nerve compression = happy feet.
