Bike relationship counselling could be a new service I offer, based on the suggestion of a client. She came to me last year to trouble shoot her fit on a high zoot, racey specimen to which she had strong emotional attachment. So she really did not want to hear that it was two frame sizes too big for her, and the wrong geometry as well. Much exasperation, fit tweaking and counselling later, and she is all for admitting this relationship should have ended long ago. Morale of the story…. don’t let emotional attachment to the wrong bike get in the way of enjoying your cycling.
