Fit Session Preparation

What to Bring

• Your bike (to state the obvious).  Not needed for a Pre Purchase Fit if you don’t have the same style of bike already.
• Cycling attire: whatever you wear riding, including bike shorts, jersey, gloves, helmet, sunglasses, cycling shoes.
• Bike components: any spare stems, seats, etc. that you have if you have been trialing different components.
• If you are taking your bike off a direct drive trainer, remember the back wheel.
• If your drivetrain is SRAM AXS, remember your derailleur batteries.

All these things have been forgotten by someone at some stage!

How Long Does a Bike Fit Take?

This depends on the type of Fit, the issues experienced by the rider, and the adjustments that are recommended and made. Generally, however:

• Pre- Purchase Fitting is 2 hours
• A Complete Bike Fit is usually 3 – 3.5 hours.
• Foot – Shoe – Cleat: 30 – 60 minutes
• Followup Sessions:  60 – 90 minutes

You will be on and off your bike, which will be set up in a stationary trainer, or on a bike simulator called a Fit Bike.

Can I Change There?

Yes, we have a dressing room you can use for getting in and out of riding attire.

Other customer comforts include a restroom, cold water, air conditioning, a fan, towels for sweaty bodies, comfy chairs and nice big windows to look out.  And if you would like a cup of tea (green, black, herbal) or coffee, just ask!

Parking

There is  parking in the front of the building (just don’t park right in front of the fire hydrant – or risk a ticket) and additional parking in the rear. You can access the rear parking lot off Kensington Street.

Access to the studio is via either the front or back doors.
